Joining the Team
Joining a research team can be a great way to learn more about psychology, develop new skills, and build a community with other students and professors. See below for opportunities available to undergraduate and graduate students.

I typically admit one doctoral student each year. You can find more information about the doctoral program in counseling psychology at UNT by visiting the program website.
Students from other labs and programs occasionally join the research team if they have similar research interests. If you are a current graduate student and are interested in joining the research team, you can email Dr. Hogge ingrid.hogge [at] unt.edu

Undergraduate students who are interested in gaining research experience related to counseling and psychology are welcome to contact me at Ingrid.Hogge [at] unt.edu.
Students who do best in the lab are those who can commit 5 hours a week to the lab, value diversity across multiple dimensions, are open to learning new tasks, and are able to work well with others.
Typical tasks include reviewing the literature, data entry, and participant recruitment. I try to work with students to figure out what projects and activities will be beneficial to their goals and the team.
