About Us

We are a lab group exploring topics related to sexual violence, stress, and suicide. We work to understand these experiences through cultural and relational lenses. Please see the Current Projects page for more information about our work.

Lab Members

  • Dr. Ingrid Hogge

    Dr. Hogge (she/her/hers) is the primary investigator (PI) for the lab. She is an Assistant Professor in the APA-accredited counseling psychology program at the University of North Texas. Previously, she worked in the counseling psychology specialization at Cleveland State University. Dr. Hogge earned her PhD in counseling psychology at Southern Illinois University. She completed an APA-accredited internship at the University of Florida Counseling and Wellness Center.

  • Jacob Krandonk, MS

    Jacob is a 1st year student in the counseling psychology program at UNT. He is a current research assistant in the lab.

  • Anna Straughan, MS

    Anna is a 1st year student in the counseling psychology program at UNT. They are a current research assistant (RA) in the lab.

  • Jisu Kim

    Jisu Kim is a 3nd year doctoral student in the CSU counseling psychology program. She works with Dr. Hogge on projects related to self-concealment and male rape myths.
